From the fastest woman in the United States to the cover of Vogue magazine. Sha’Carri Richardson is one of the players to watch at the Paris Olympic Games.

Richardson shines competing in the 100 meters at the Olympic trials. She missed the Toyko Games due to suspension, but is now back with the goal of becoming queen of the track.

Part of Richardson’s look and brand are his long nails, which extend across the starting line.

“I think I want to bring beauty to the track,” Richardson said. “I can be as beautiful as I am standing here when I’m living my life and when I’m handling my business.”

Richardson’s teammate and Olympian Gabby Thomas, who competed in the 200 meters, is returning. The Harvard graduate won a bronze medal in Toyko.

Since then, while preparing for Paris, she also earned a master’s degree from the University of Texas.

Sha’Carri Richardson is ignoring any negative ‘energy and opinions’ at Paris 2024, and with good reason – she has her sights set on gold.

The American sprinter is ready to show the world what she’s capable of, and heads to the French capital as favorite to win the women’s 100m.

And she’ll hope to do so in her own unique style.

“My look is always a mix,” Richardson tells Elle. “You never know what you’ll find when it comes to me.”
Richardson showed off her trademark long nails for her official Team USA Olympic portrait before Paris, and except for the colorful hair seen at the U.S. Trials in June, her impressive quality on the track was clear for all to see.

“This is authentically who I am. I never play small, this is how I approach life.” “I wanted to focus on performing my best and that was reflected in my look. It was clean, fresh and strong.

Richardson posted a season’s best of 10.71 in those trials, making her the fastest woman this year.

“I just had to execute,” he said. “I knew I could do it, and I did.”
Richardson’s steadfast focus and desire for a more natural look first surfaced with a big statement on the track last year.

U.S. In the starting blocks of the track and field championships, she waited until she was on camera and her name was announced before taking off her orange wig – part of a look she previously described as ‘loud and encouraging and ‘Honestly, dangerous’ – and threw it after him.

Showing her hair down in a ponytail, she left not only the wig behind, but also her compatriots behind, as she cruised to victory.

On her decision to try this new look, she said: “My grandmother, my aunts, and my mother all influence the beauty that I present to the world on a day-to-day, especially in big moments.

“He kept his nails well-groomed. Hair was also something I paid a lot of attention to.
