Tom Brady agreed to be roasted on Netflix’s The Greatest Roast of All Time, but one particular joke went too far for the NFL Hall of Famer.
One of the early moments of the comedy special that went viral was when the seven-time Super Bowl champion got up from his seat to whisper something to Jeff Ross.
As “Roastmaster General”, Ross came on stage to roast Brady, and one particular joke backfired on the former football player.
Ross was talking about how Brady was selected by the New England Patriots in the sixth round of the NFL Draft and became the 199th overall pick.
“So Tom became a Patriot and moved to New England, and on the first day of training camp, that skinny rookie famously walked into owner Robert Kraft’s office and said, ‘I’m the best decision your organization has ever made. Am.” , Would you like a massage?” Ross joked.
As the audience reacted to the burn, the camera cut to Brady, who appeared to be uncomfortable with the jab. Ross turned to Kraft, who was in the audience, to greet him, and kissed him.
“I love Robert Kraft, I…,” Ross began, before Brady came over and whispered in his ear, “Don’t ever say that crap again.”
Ross agreed to Brady’s request and explained that Kraft was “having fun” during the roast.
In 2019, Kraft and others were charged with solicitation as part of an anti-sex trafficking investigation into several massage parlors in Florida. Prosecutors ultimately dropped the misdemeanor charge against the Patriots owner after courts barred the use of video from secret cameras installed by police inside parlors.
Other roster members included comedians Burt Kreischer, Tom Segura, Nikki Glaser, Andrew Schultz, Tony Hinchcliffe and Sam Jay, as well as former wide receivers Randy Moss and Julian Edelman, quarterback Drew Bledsoe and tight end Rob Gronkowski.

Tom Brady, 46, proved his good humor during a roast as part of Netflix’s live special, “The Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady.”
The retired NFL great took plenty of photos from friends, former teammates and comedians, including host Kevin Hart.
Hart wasted no time in chastising him for Brady’s short-term “indispensability” and his unsuccessful final season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He even took aim at Brady’s divorce from Gisele Bundchen.
“You know who flirted with his coach? Gisele, he flirted with his karate coach,” Hart joked, prompting a clearly uncomfortable Brady to raise his glass and drink.
Other notable roster additions included former teammate Drew Bledsoe, whom Brady replaced with the Patriots in 2001, and comedian Nikki Glaser. They all brought up the issue of Brady’s divorce in their set.
Brady faced jokes about his failed crypto ads, his history with the New York Giants, and even his looks from Kim Kardashian.
The event was part of the Netflix Is a Joke festival. Brady officially retired from the NFL for the second time in February 2023 after an emotional social media post announcing his decision.

One joke definitely caught Tom Brady’s attention.
During “The Roast of Tom Brady” on Netflix Sunday night, famed comedian Jeff Ross was playing Brady, as the show intended.
But things changed when Ross started talking about Brady joining the Patriots after being drafted 199th overall in 2000.
“Tom became a Patriot, moved to New England, and on the first day of training camp, that skinny rookie famously walked into owner Robert Kraft’s office and said ‘I think this is the best decision your organization has ever made. Am,” Ross said. “Would you like a massage?”
Ross gave a kiss to Kraft, who was also present. Then Brady rose from his seat and made his first audible reaction of the night.
“Don’t say that again,” Brady, who was smiling, told Ross.
Craft was charged with soliciting prostitution in February 2019 following a multi-county investigation of massage parlors in Florida, with police saying they recorded Craft paying for sex acts at the Orchid of Asia Spa in January 2019 Was.
While Kraft pleaded not guilty, a federal judge in Florida later ruled that the recording was filmed using illegal surveillance and should be destroyed.

The case was dismissed in September 2019.
“I am truly sorry,” Kraft said in a March 2019 statement about the matter. “I know that I have hurt and disappointed my family, my close friends, my coworkers, my fans, and many other people who hold me to a higher standard.
“Throughout my life, I have always tried to do the right thing. The last thing I would ever want to do is disrespect another human being.
