The Mariners are hoping to provide some big help to their struggling offense.

Seattle has acquired outfielder Randy Arozarena in a trade with the Rays, according to multiple reports.

Tampa Bay will get two prospects back, outfielder Aidan Smith and pitcher Brody Hopkins, as well as a player to be named later, the Tampa Bay Times reports.

The Post’s Jon Heyman reported Thursday that the Mariners and Dodgers were interested in Arozarena.

The 2021 Rookie of the Year and 2023 American League All-Star got off to a slow start this year, but has crushed 15 homers and has an OPS of 106, which is slightly above league average.

He has belted 86 homers and has a .442 slugging percentage in six seasons with the Rays.

The Mariners are 53-51 and one game behind the Astros, who recently overtook Seattle in the AL West.
In late May, he fired offensive coordinator and bench coach Brant Brown as the conflict escalated.

Arozarena is arbitration-eligible over the next two seasons and will not become a free agent until 2027.

He will now join an outfield that includes 2022 Rookie of the Year Julio Rodriguez.

Randy Arozarena’s story is one of perseverance and passion.

After arriving in Mexico on a small boat from Cuba, Arozarena quickly became attached to his new home. It was in Mexico where he and his former girlfriend welcomed their first daughter, Lia Antonella, into the world.

Since then, Arozarena’s family has continued to grow with his wife Senelia Pinedo Blanco, with whom he has a daughter, Alaia. Senelia also has two daughters from previous relationships. Together, the family enjoys life to the fullest while supporting Arozarena during his Major League career.

On November 13, 2020, Randy Arozarena and Senelia Pinedo Blanco married at Contoyana Ranch near Mérida. Senelia is from Cartagena de Indias, a Colombian city on the Caribbean coast. In 2017 he earned a bachelor’s degree from the National Open University of Colombia in Bogotá.

Through 336 MLB games, the talented outfielder has hit 48 home runs with 171 RBI and 58 stolen bases.
