Kyrie Irving, Luka Doncic & Mavs Arriving: Interview,Wife,Shoes
Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving were mobbed by NBA fans outside the TD Garden. This happened when both Dallas Mavericks superstars arrived outside the Boston Celtics arena for Game 2 of the NBA Finals.
Irving arrived wearing a suit with his wife and their child before boarding the team bus. Doncic was seen signing jerseys and shoes outside the TD Garden. The Slovenian star was in a white Jordan T-shirt with a text message written on it,
The Mavericks play this last game on the road before returning back to Dallas for Game 3 and Game 4. They suffered an embarrassing defeat in Game 1 when the Celtics won the first game of the NBA Finals by 18 points. Kyrie Irving struggled from the floor in Game 1, hitting just 6 of 19 from the field and missing all five shots from beyond the arc. Expect Irving to enter Game 2 with a different set of aggression.
It was only Luka Doncic who had a pretty good offensive night for the Mavs. Doncic scored 30 points while making 12 of 26 shots from the field. However, he only had one assist in the game, which was unusual given his approach to the game in general. While Irving is set to play in Game 2, Luka Doncic’s status is still up in the air.
Luka Doncic is questionable for NBA Finals Game 2
After the Dallas Mavericks lost in Game 1 of the NBA Finals, they have more bad news before Game 2. Superstar Luka Doncic is listed as questionable for the game against the Celtics.
Doncic is listed with three injuries. He is suffering from a chest injury, pain in his left ankle and a sprain in his right knee.
Doncic has not missed a single playoff game this season, but he has battled minor injuries during this postseason and has been on the injury report several times.
Doncic was seen participating in practice before the game. However, the Mavericks have not yet made any decision regarding his availability. If Doncic misses Game 2, it could be very difficult for the team to advance in the series.
Interview
Luka Doncic is racking up injuries and points in these NBA Finals.
But for the second game in a row, he didn’t get enough support from his Mavericks teammates. This time on a night when the Boston Celtics tried everything they could to give Dallas a chance to steal a game on the road.
Doncic connected on 12 of 21 shots and finished with 32 points, 11 assists and 11 rebounds, his 10th career playoff triple double and the first Finals triple-double in Mavericks history.
But his teammates shot a combined 26 of 59 from the field that night, with Boston making just 10 of 30 from the 3-point line, and All-Star Jayson Tatum shot 6 of 22 from the field, leading to Boston won Game 2 105β0. 98.
It all added up to a two-game deficit for the Mavericks as the best-of-seven series shifts to Dallas for Game 3 on Wednesday.
Doncic, when asked if he thought the Mavs missed an opportunity to take advantage of the Celtics’ off night, said, “Every game we lose is a missed opportunity for us.” βAt the end of the day, we have to make shots to win games.β
It was the first Game 2 loss in these playoffs for Dallas, who had won three in a row β all on the road. The Mavs now face a tough task in defeating a Boston team that has lost just twice in four of five games this postseason. The Celtics are 6-0 this postseason.
Dallas struggled from both the 3-point line (6 of 26) and the free throw line (16 of 24). Doncic was 4 of 8 from the foul line and had eight of his team’s 15 turnovers.
“The little things, you know, we’ve got to do the little things and that’s part of the game,” Mavericks coach Jason Kidd said. “Those are the points we left on the board, and we didn’t shoot free throws well tonight, and we’ve got to be better.”
Doncic started Game 2 after being placed on the probable list Sunday morning with a sprained right knee and left ankle, but was moved to questionable after a bruised chest was added to his illness list by the afternoon.Β

Although they never officially confirmed their relationship, Wilkerson was seen wearing an engagement ring less than a year later.
