Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow denied that his wrist surgery will cause him any problems starting the 2024 NFL season.
The 2022 Pro Bowler said Wednesday that his right wrist is affecting his throws “not at all.”
Burrow also dismissed concerns from fans who saw him twist and shake his right wrist, including during Cincinnati’s 16–10 loss to the New England Patriots.
The Bengals failed in Week 1 and their starting quarterback is partly to blame. Burrow completed 21 of 29 passing for 164 yards and showed little willingness to look for downs.
Especially considering that he was still favoring his throwing arm, questions about its strength and mobility were inevitable.
