Salt Sinner is back on a winning streak, and had to overcome an opponent who had fought outside the rules several times throughout.
Papi faces MMA fighter Amadeus Ferrari in the main event of Misfits Boxing 14 on Saturday in London. Ferrari started the fight aggressively, but Papi weathered the storm and began to overtake his rival. After three rounds, Ferrari refused to come off the stool and the bout was abandoned.
Pape landed big shots early on, but Ferrari tried to turn it into a street fight as both were throwing punches at full strength. Papi eventually scored a knockdown with about 10 seconds remaining in the opening stanza, although Ferrari immediately denied this.
Ferrari continued to spoil the fight in Round 2, deducting a point by leading with his head during each exchange. The Ferrari just kept swinging for the fences, keeping a constant smile on Papi’s face. The round ended with a takedown of Ferrari, after Papi landed a beautiful counter check hook.
In the third round, Papi battered Ferrari until the MMA veteran landed a double leg shot and a takedown, then deducted another point for leading with a headbutt. That would ultimately be the final moment of the contest.
With the win, Papi bounced back from consecutive losses to Anthony Taylor and Slim.
In the co-main event, the Misfits Boxing Women’s Cruiserweight Championship was on the line as Julie Poca defended against 6ar6ie6. The women had nothing but straight-up heated trading throughout the fierce battle card ā especially in the fifth and final round. Poka retained the title with a scorecard sweep in a fight that was certainly much closer than the score indicated.

Unsurprisingly, Ferrari has refused to come out for the fourth round.
He didn’t need to get DQ’d, he quit on his own!
That capped off an entertaining night of Misfits-fueled action, with Salt Papi earning a TKO victory to top the night.
Ferrari is coming with the most forceful attacks swinging from the hip.
He is running out of ideas and tries to use his MMA skills again to defeat Salt Sinner and get another point.
DQ could be coming as we get to the fourth round.
Cue the Ferrari to dive in with its head, the Salt Sinner has already been cut.

He got caught during an exchange on the inside but he was brutal in that opener, surely he can’t keep that pace up?
Next up is the night’s headliner, Salt Sinners against Amadeus Ferrari.
The Salt Sinner is coming off a loss to Slim in October and is looking to bounce back tonight.
Ferrari is a volatile MMA star who has tried to make everyone fight this week look delicious.
Misfits Champion Anthony Taylor is in the ring to fight a real opponent.
Out comes karate combat star Samuel Ericsson, who comes into the ring and confronts Taylor.
They are going back and forth and seem to be agreeing to fight.
KSI was impressed at ringside by Kenny’s performance.
“Showed the level. Really good win,” he tweeted.
The two have argued before and Kenny has called out KSI. One for the future?
Big uppercut and Brooks is down again.
That right uppercut continues to land but Brooks gets up bravely and lands a big right of his own.
Brooks stands against the ropes as Kenny hammers the body and the referee comes in.
