Sabrina Carpenter’s latest music video is making us want more.
The singer released her sixth studio album, “Short ‘n’ Sweet,” on Friday, along with the music video for her single “Taste,” which also featured “Wednesday” actress Jenna Ortega.
In the track Carpenter discovers that his ex-wife has returned with her old flame (Ortega), and a bloody battle between the two foxes begins.
“I heard you got back together and if it’s true/ Then you’ll just have to taste me while he’s kissing you,” Belt, 25, sings in the chorus. “If you want forever, I’m sure you will / Just know you’ll taste me too.”
The music video shows Carpenter silently arriving to attack Ortega with a knife, before realizing that the “Beetlejuice” star is not doing well in bed at all.
The 21-year-old Ortega is ready to go, enters the bedroom with a gun and blasts the singer onto the balcony.
Later in the video, Carpenter channels her inner “psycho,” storming into the bathroom to confront the actress and the mystery man in the shower.
Despite Ortega successfully cutting off her competitor’s hand, Carpenter vows that she will return.
A bloody fight ensues between the leading ladies, and the young Hollywood starlets share a passionate kiss before taking an unexpected turn.
At the end — SPOILER ALERT — the boyfriend (played by “Halloween” actor Rohan Campbell) turns out to be the dying man, leaving Carpenter and Ortega to attend her funeral together, become friends, and drink milkshakes. He goes away.
Fans flocked to the comments section to share their thoughts, with one viewer writing, “The kiss, the costumes, the storyline, oh my god, I think we found ourselves a winner, you guys.” A second user said, “I didn’t know Sabrina was scary, but her making a scary music video with Princess Jenna is pretty iconic.”
Horror fans everywhere rejoice.

The “graphic violence” warning that appears at the beginning of the video for Sabrina Carpenter’s brand new single “Taste” – from her recently released sixth album “Short N’ Sweet” – at first makes one think that the playful avenger Fantasies The last two videos have gotten serious. But as strange as it may seem, the murder weapons, dismemberment and buckets of blood he and Jenna Ortega spill in the Tarantino-ish clip, a reference to the 1992 film “Death Becomes Her,” are like a cartoon.
As they fight over a lover (played by fellow “Halloween” actor Rohan Campbell), Ortega sets Carpenter on fire, cuts off his hand, throws him out the window and hangs him on a white picket fence, And electrocutes him – and it’s really hilarious, and of course Carpenter gives as good as he gets. Spoiler alert: They compared boyfriends’ notes while having coffee together on their way home from a boyfriend’s funeral.
Carpenter is credited as songwriter for “Taste” along with Julia Michaels and Amy Allen, while John Ryan and Ian Kirkpatrick are credited as producers. The tracklist for “Short N’ Sweet” (out Friday) featured the top five singles “Please Please Please” and “Espresso” as well as the unreleased songs “Sharpest Tools,” “Coincidence,” “Good Graces,” “Slim Pickins.” Are included. “Juno,” “Lies to Girls,” “Bed Cam,” “Dumb.”
